Anarchy In The Pre-K

First of all, I'd like to thank Jason Ringenberg for the title of this blog. (An album title for him) I have known him a bit since he was the Jason of the legendary cow-punk band Jason and the Scorchers in the 80's, and I was a slam-dancing teenager and friends with some of the Scorchers. The times they have-a-changed. Now he is "Farmer Jason" who my son rocks to barnyard animal songs with on PBS, and I am a self-respecting mommy whose worst curse (in a mile radius of my kid) is "Oh my gooooodness!" (Well, maybe I exaggerate a weee bit).
But, I got a call the other day from pre-school that you just never want to get. My l'il guy tried to run out the front door and when he had to stay with the teacher, started hair pulling--laughing all the way. Luckily he pulled himself together before I had to come take him home. But, this former punk-rock girl is wondering how in the world my precious angel could turn into KID Vicious?!
This too shall pass! :)

Thanks for the virtual bubbly and chocolate! I am following you now too! I'm glad you found me. And, personally, I think all little boys have a little Vicious in them now and again. I know mine does!! And he is only one!

I have never heard of that band and I grew up in the 80s. LOL You know your the second person that has said that a preschool or school has sent their child home. That really irks me as they should learn how to deal with beahviors. I am sure this is just a phase and it will pass. Stopping by from MBC :)

Thanks for commenting everybody! For the record, his preschool did work it out that day(he didn't actually have to come home-thank goodness), they have been great.
Stacie, Jason and the Scorchers were a Nashville phenomena! Glad u stopped by!

Those are the calls from school I dreaded - 'No, everything's fine ... it's just that your son has just driven a motorbike through the gymnasium ...'
