Nothing but the tooth

We saw "Tooth Fairy" with Little Man on Sunday. Well, it was cute ... for five-year-olds. It was somewhat amusing to see Dwayne ("The Rock" Johnson) flit around in a fairy tutu. Now Little man says he knows everything about the tooth fairy, so, I suppose it was educational. Ha! There were some good (or bad, depending on your point of view) puns scattered throughout for adult's enjoyment (my personal favorite was the "fairy krishna's" at the airport) and there was a nice saccharine sweet ending. Like one review says, "just floss with a couple of good Pixar films afterwards and you should be just fine". All in all it was a fun family outing.

My sons are adults so I won't be seeing any movies of this genre any time soon. Actually we rarely go to movies preferring to watch them at home. Sure I am always out of date.
How will the Rock ever live this role down? By cashing the big check I guess.

I'll be interested to see that one when it comes out on DVD. We're really prepping for the tooth fairy's arrival although I don't expect any loose teeth for a few more years.

Hey, Lori- yeah, I imagine the Rock is laughing all the way to thr bank :)
Hi ya Joey---it is probably a good rental. When can we expect to see the tooth fairy? Late 5's?

I saw the trailer for this... was wondering if it was worth seeing.
Thanks for the review.
Trinity is all set to lose her 3rd tooth, so we might have to check it out.

My boys have been wanting to go see this movie. It looks pretty cute from the previews we have seen. Maybe we'll take them to see it soon, but first we have to go see Alvin and the Chipmunks! :)

I want to wait to see this one, because I know its all about him not believing in the tooth fairy...I want to keep these fun illusions going for a while, before you know it, my kids won't believe in Santa!

Great review. You are too funny. I was wondering about this movie, esp. since it features the Rock in a tutu and all. That's just about entertaining enough for me. But we might wait on the video based on your thoughts. Thanks!!!
